Registration is valid for 10 years from the filing date.

May be renewed in perpetuity for consecutive periods of 10 years each.

No allowance for late renewal if the request is made after 1 year from the expiry of the last registration.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

Registration is valid for 5 years from the filing date or the priority date (if applicable).

Extendible for 4 further consecutive periods of 5 years each.

Grace period for renewal: 6 months from the due date and subject to payment of a surcharge
